~Romantic Things~
I love Romance—DUH I’m a romance writer ;o) But I also love how romance and what one would consider romantic is so subjective. It is truly individual and I find that fascinating. That’s why I love to write about it!

~The Perfect Recipe for the Perfect Self Tan~
I was reading one of my favorite blogs and there was a post about self tanning lotion. I’ve never been much of a fan of self tanners because of the “orange” color that is notorious with self.
But this person swears if you mix two self tanner lotions you can get the PERFECT tan.
L’oreal Sublime Bronze Tinted and Banana Boat Summer Color Light/Medium Color are the two magic ingredients.
Here’s what you do: In the shower, exfoliate your body really well (I use my coffee scrub recipe can be found here and it works great!). After you dry off mix equal parts of both products in your hand. Rub in very well. I really take my time working it in.
Your tan should be PERFECT in about 12 hours and should last for 5 days. (I usually apply once a day for the first 3 days or so to get it as dark as I want...then I just do it once a week for maintenance). Everyone is different and wants a lighter or darker color so play with it. Remember to wash your hands very well after you apply.

~South America~
I’m thinking about taking a summer trip to South America. I’m leaning towards Argentina but haven’t decided yet. Does anyone have any suggestions? I love the country (meaning less populated areas) and have no desire to “stay” in the big cities…I just like to visit them to experience them—and the people. I enjoy areas that have mountains or lakes—basically nature and the outdoors. I’m not sure if I’m ready to hike some of the mountains—eg. Andes, Inca Trail—I don’t need to go into cardiac arrest in South America.
