My name is Aris. Aris is pronounced (heiress) and I'm not sure what the meaning is. Several years ago, when I was asked what my name meant, I replied that Aris was a Greek Sexx Goddess (what can I say I'm a romance writer). Unfortunately, my husband happened to be near, he looked over at me, rolled his eyes, and said very loudly "I wish". I've moved on to another story, which happens to be true. I was born in the seventies to a pair of hippies, real hippies. Having said that, I think I got off lucky with the name Aris. It could have been much worse, Fruit Stand or something like that. So, Aris it is.

~Karma Never Stops Giving…~

I just love it when good things happen to good people! For me, it confirms that the laws of the universe—what goes around comes around, is true and for some reason that’s comforting.

A 26 year old US Marine experienced the art of Karma first hand. Cpl. Alexander Degenhardt had just learned he’d been accepted as a bone marrow donor to an anonymous patient when three days later he hit a 2.9 million jackpot in Vegas.

He serves our country and on his off time donates bone marrow to a stranger—sounds like a hero to me. I can’t think of anyone who deserves it more.
Way to go Karma…& Cpl. Degenhardt too of course ;o)
