I have five
million (that might be a little excessive) pictures on my camera—I will snap a
picture of anything. So I thought I’d go
through them and clean them up. Here are some random pics I forgot I’d taken.
Watermelon
Message: At the beginning of summer I distinctly remember asking my daughter if
she could cut me a piece of watermelon when she was getting some for herself. When she walked past me nibbling on a juicy wedge
I asked her. “Where’s mine?” She replied, “In the kitchen.”
She’s a crafty one ;o)
Brave
Waves: My daughter and I went to see the movie Brave and we loved Merida’s
curls.
My daughter found a way to get Merida’s curls with a sock. Here it is on
Pinterest. Her curls came out so awesome I just had to take a few pictures!!!
Love her red hair…and no it’s not dyed…we get asked that all the time.
Bored While
Driving: I traveled a lot this summer—all by myself so I got very lonely. I
totally forgot I took these pictures and not even sure why I took them.
When the traffic
wasn’t that busy I actually wrote on one of my books. With a pencil and a pad.
This was my
fuel…those almonds are my favorite snack.
Not sure
why I took this…I believe I was stuck in traffic for a long time and felt like
I5 was taking a piece of my soul…
~type you soon~

I used to take random pictures all the time until my family did an "intervention."
ReplyDeleteThe watermelon made me hungry (it's my favorite fruit to eat during the summer), your daughter has beautiful hair, and I feel you on the I5. This freeway gets horrible around the L.A. area (not sure if you're in California).
An intervention...I love it! Yes, it was I5 near LA...the streets have a piece of me I'll never get back ;o)
DeleteI take pictures all the time, of everything too! You can probably tell by my blogs. Always a camera in hand.
ReplyDeleteLove your daughter's hair! That ts a cool way of making a bun with a sock! So you just do it up while it is damp?
I swear we are sisters! I love almonds! There is always a pack of them in my cupboard! I like the roasted salted ones.
PS - I did a real good vegetarian cookbook review! Check it out sometime.
DeleteI told you we were sepreated at birth ;o)Yes, her hair was damp and she slept on it. I love the curls! I'm off tocheck out your review-thanks for giving me a heads-up.
DeleteTraveling & writing .. that's what I wish I could do. You're so committed to your writing. Wish you all the best for more books to come :)
ReplyDeleteJane, Since I was driving alone I had time to think....ideas for my story just flow uninterrupted...it also happens when I'm in the shower and doing the dishes...LOL
DeleteThanks for the best wishes.
Looking forward to read your books :)
